What a successful year for Capo Drama!!  We started out strong with our performances of BULLSHOT CRUMMOND--making people fall out of their seats with laughter!  That show got us recognized at the annual California Educational Theater Association Festival as a runner up for our Orange County area!  Then, the lead (Ambrose Cappuccio) won the Best Actor trophy for his performance in that show!!  We continued our year with an unprecedented show:  the entire Advanced Drama class worked together to put on William Shakespeare's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM.  The Stagecraft class used their advanced skills (learned at IVC theater in Irvine) to create the dream-like atmosphere of the Athens forest.  The cast awakened their senses to Shakespeare, and really attached themselves to the characters and their language.  As a Theater teacher and an English teacher, I was VERY proud!!  We ended the year with the classic musical "GREASE".  The cast and crew worked together to bring this "oldie but goodie" to life, and had audiences singing and dancing in their seats for 6 nights!

It was a great year!  See you at Banquet May 29th!
